DEMAND was presented at IEEE RTSI 2018

Eng. Diego Arnone, Head of Smart Energy Projects Research Area (R&D Lab) at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa, Scientific Coordinator of the DEMAND project, attended, as Keynote Speaker, the 4th International Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry (IEEE RTSI 2018) held in Palermo from 10th to 13th September 2018 (http://rtsi2018.ieeesezioneitalia.it/). He presented the DEMAND project during his speech on “Smart solutions for balancing power grid with high penetration of renewables”.

In the context of the IEEE RTSI conference, a meeting was held with the industries about the IEEE RTSI conference. The objectives of the meeting were to inform all the participants of the initiatives that the IEEE Region 8 (Europe, Africa and the Middle East) and the IEEE Italy Section are promoting in favor of the industries. Cupersafety reserved a small exhibition space that gave the opportunity to explain its ongoing research activities to the conference audience. Among these, Cupersafety, thanks to the presence of prof. Gaetano Zizzo (University of Palermo) and the coordinator Ing. Diego Arnone (Enginnering I.I.), explained the activities related to the DEMAND project of its own responsibility, clarifying the difficulties encountered and the solutions proposed to the various interlocutors.
